There’s a very good reason that I haven’t posted lately. Namely, I’ve nothing to post I’m preparing important cooking tips:
Lesson #1: turn on the correct burner AND remove the burner cover.
Lesson #2. Have Tylenol handy.
Lesson #3 While coating your chicken in crumbs, be sure that the crumbs are MUCH smaller than this:
Because if, hypothetically speaking, I was to leave the crumbs like this, they would produce a burned mess of cornflake bits in the frying pan. NO. You do not get a picture of that. A girl has to draw the line somewhere.
Lesson #4: And that smell? don’t burn rice. For example, don’t leave the burner on med-low while you take a jaunt downtown for half an hour. The smell of burned rice will surely mess with the ambiance.
There ya have it. We’ve been so busy that we’ve resorted to take out a few times this week.
Oh – and an extra tidbit just for you: if you’re going to mess up dinner, spread it out a bit. Every day for nearly a week, will leave very little for your food blog. I’m just sayin’.
