Question – what do you do for communion?

To my celiac friends who practice communion or the sacraments, what do you do on these Sundays, or times?
I’m just curious to know how others’ have handled this.

thanks!
Cathy

My church has GF wafers. They are in a separate container that is kept near one of the servers. We ask and then we retrieve the wafer from the container.

I’ve been taking my own in my purse, in a little resealable container.

our church has gf ones and you need to go to the priest, he is the only one that has them. I am sure your church can get them. They have now been accepted by Rome!

since i don’t have a huge issue with it, i just take what’s there. but i know that they do have GF ones. I’ve just never pushed the issue. i know, shame on me.

Our church has GF wafers that are kept in a separate container. One side of the communion servers has this container along with non GF wafers. To date I noticed 2 people who have taken them in our church. BTW, they taste much better than the non GF ones!

My church has GF wafers, but I have also seen rice crakers or small pieces of rice cakes used. (But I’m not catholic, so I don’t know if there are any restrictions like that.)
