Thank you to the Finish Sponsors!!
This is my State of the Blog address. Thank you for joining our little adventure in blogging for all these years!
Change is in the air!
I get to make my own rules on this blog, at the DSWP blog I have to be all professional’n'stuff.
How am I shaking it up you ask?
Well! I created my first sponsored giveaway last week. (please enter so I don’t look like a doofus!) Coming down the pipeline I have more giveaways, a nail polish review (because some things are too good not to share), and I’ve also rediscovered a love for writing that I need to post somewhere and pretend that people are reading.
I have been encouraged to post on the Refine Conference blog and I’m surprised how much I like it. But writing for real takes a lot of effort. Unlike these fun posts where I open up the laptop and let the fingers fall where they may. Lucky you.
That is where it sits.
Thoughts?
I have one other idea if you are interested: guest posting.
Have something to say that won’t fit in a comments? Have you tried a great gluten free dish you want to share? Email me!
Thus ends your annual whenever-I-feel-like-it State of the Blog Address at Strawberries Are Gluten Free. Thanks for joining me!
I love this company more and more. Every so often I get to sample their products. This is not one of those times. This is just a time when they’ve gone above and beyond – yet again. Here’s what the press release says:
It has always been a strong belief for Bakery On Main to use Non-GMO ingredients, and now we are very proud to announce that all of our products are now Non-GMO Project Verified! The Non-GMO Project offers North America’s only third party verification and labeling for non-GMO food and products. You can learn more about them on their website www.nongmoproject.org
GMOs, or “genetically modified organisms,” are plants or animals created through the gene splicing techniques of biotechnology (also called genetic engineering, or GE). This experimental technology merges DNA from different species, creating unstable combinations of plant, animal, bacterial and viral genes that cannot occur in nature or in traditional crossbreeding.
So next time you see a yummy Bakery on Main granola, buy it. And be proud! Wait – go visit their website first, and get a coupon for $1.50 FIRST first, then go see granola and buy it. THEN You may be feel doubly proud, you coupon queen you.
All the best!
Cathy
