Lunchables – the gluten-free way

My kids love those “Lunchables” from the deli cooler – with the meat and cheese and crackers all in cute little circles and 2 chocolate covered cookies for good measure.  So it was an easy idea for the lunchbox:

We use tiny re-usable containers for cheese and meat and stuff them inside a larger square “Lunchable” container.  We could, you know, call them “bento boxes” too so that we’re hip and cool.

Enjoy!

  1. I don’t eat meat, but what a cute idea!

I’m all for making gf food as normal seeming as possible – particularly food kids. Plus, this way you have the ability to not use the saltiest, lowest quality of processed meats that lunchables uses.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I was impressed by the idea!
