Garlic alfredo Sauce – yum!

This was absolutely divine!  I can’t wait for next time we use it!

This made 2 servings for my family of FIVE!

Sauce:

  • 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup parmesan
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  1. Add all together.  And nuke in microwave until parmesan is melted, and sauce is thickening.  It’s magic! lol

For Linguine with Garlic Alfredo: add linguine, silly.

My husband and I loved this! We added chicken and broccoli to it one night, on another night we just had it plain, it was yummy on both days. I was afraid it was going to be too rich for me but hey, I just used a little less sauce.
I did use light cream cheese, and light soy milk (cause that’s what I had).
One batch fed this family of two many, times and I’m going to try and freeze some right now. Next time I will try and cut the recipe down.

Thank you for a tasty…and oh so easy meal!!
(especially since my husband has gout and has to be on a low meat diet, this is great)
